October 100Km Challenge for Charity!

Walking for Dementia UK - Sam & Bracken

This month me and James have taken on the October Challenge for Dementia UK, which is to walk 100km within the month! We will bust butt to do it but we do have the additional advantage of working as a team, AND our lovely clients coming along for the adventure as well! You will see us all over Clackmannanshire as we slowly begin to build up those kilometers, so look out for us around Cambus Pools, Alva Glen, Cochrane Park, Black Devon Wetlands, Wood Hill Wood, Dollar Glen, Gartmorn Dam, Devilla Forest and MORE! You just never know where in the Wee County we may pop up and if you see us, come grab a pic with us, we love meeting new people whether you have pets with you or not! If you would like to sponsor our challenge, you absolutely can through our Just Giving Page. All the money raised there goes straight towards our £200 goal for the challenge to be met by the end of October and goes straight to Dementia UK! You can find our sponsor page by clicking the image here below!

The amount of donation you're able to provide need not be a lot, just whatever you can afford to part with as every single penny is more than nothing at all and it all goes towards raising funds for an amazing cause. Dementia is something we have all heard of, most of us have at least a passing experience with this illness and definitely know at least onw person it has impacted significantly. Treatments and cures are the ultimate goal for most researchers, however that isn't all that's needed. Families living with Dementia in the family often need a lot of support, be it for their loved ones or for themselves and those around them and that is vitally important work as well and your contribution makes a HUGE difference. We are doing this walk and raising money in honour of my husband's (James) late Nan. Eileen was an amazing woman with an incredible life and Dementia hit the family hard and fast. It rocked the entire family. We do this in her name out of love and respect for everything she was to our family.
